Recycled plastics now account for more than 50% of our consumption
Giving new life to recycled plastics
At Kellpo, we take our responsibility for the environment seriously.
Recycling is an important focus area for us. We strive to recycle all the plastic we send to the market.
We use around 1,000 tons of recycled plastic annuallyin our Hexa-Cover production, which means that recycled plastic accounts for a significant share of our total plastic consumption compared to virgin plastic.
We mainly produce with PP (polypropylene) plastic, which is known to be one of the cleanest forms of plastic, and thus a type of plastic that is easy to recycle for other purposes.
Innovation and plastic recycling
A collaboration between Kellpo & Hexa-Cover®
At Kellpo, we are dedicated to creating innovative solutions in plastics manufacturing that make a difference. Our collaboration with Hexa-Cover® is a powerful example of how recycled plastic can be used for practical and effective products.
Hexa-Cover® floating layer modules developed from recycled plastic
Every year we recycle over 1000 tons of plastic that goes into the production of Hexa-Cover® floating cover modules. These unique hexagonal modules are used to cover liquid surfaces in slurry tanks, water reservoirs and industrial containers.
The result is a solution that reduces evaporation, odors and energy consumption - while protecting against pollution. It's a product that creates value in a wide range of industries, from agriculture to wastewater management.
By recycling plastic that could otherwise be waste, we help our customers optimize their resources and create sustainable solutions.
At Kellpo, we constantly strive to deliver high-quality plastic products that meet our customers' needs and strengthen their business in a smart and responsible way.
