Revitalizing Recycled Plastic
At Kellpo, we take our environmental responsibility seriously.
Recycling is a key focus area for us. We strive to recycle all plastic we introduce to the market.
We utilize approximately 1,000 tons of recycled plastic annually in our Hexa-Cover production, meaning that recycled plastic constitutes a significant proportion of our total plastic consumption compared to virgin plastic.
We primarily produce with PP plastic (polypropylene), which is recognized as one of the purest forms of plastic, and thus a type of plastic that is readily recyclable for various applications.
Hexa-Cover® Floating Layer Modules Developed from Recycled Plastic
Annually, we recycle over 1000 tons of plastic, which is incorporated into the production of Hexa-Cover®’s floating layer modules. These unique, hexagonal modules are employed to cover liquid surfaces in slurry tanks, water reservoirs, and industrial containers.
The result is a solution that reduces evaporation, odor emissions, and energy consumption – while simultaneously protecting against contamination. This product generates value across a wide range of industries, from agriculture to wastewater management.
